Aeroarc, has entered into significant partnerships with two global players, Ghost Robotics from the United States and Japan’s ACSL, marking a major stride in the expansion of unmanned systems manufacturing capabilities.

The collaboration with Philadelphia-based Ghost Robotics, a key supplier to the US Army, will establish a joint venture named Ghost Robotics India. This venture is set to manufacture all-terrain robots within the country, catering to both the domestic and international markets. The undisclosed but substantial investment will focus on local production, product development, and talent acquisition within India. With technology transfer from Ghost Robotics, the joint venture aims to contribute to the “Make in India” initiative by producing up to 70% of robotic components locally. The customized solutions will target sectors such as healthcare, defense, and industrial automation.

Simultaneously, Aeroarc has secured funding from ACSL, Japan’s largest drone manufacturer. The undisclosed investment, reportedly part of ACSL’s recent fundraising round of 1.3 billion yen for overseas investments, including India, amounts to Rs 40 crore. This strategic partnership aims to strengthen India’s supply chain for robotics and unmanned systems. Additionally, the collaboration aspires to secure $30 million in UAV and robotics projects over the next two years.

Arjun Aggarwal, Aeroarc Managing Director and Director at Ghost Robotics India, highlighted the significance of these alliances. He stated, “The partnerships with Ghost Robotics and ACSL represent a crucial step in fostering the growth of the drone industry in India. Through technology transfer, local production, and strategic investments, we aim to position India as a key player in the global drone market, providing innovative solutions across various sectors.”
